For a limited time only, we are expanding our partner network,
offering commission of 30% on referred migration matters.
Whether you wish to improve the cash flow of your business, or to generate additional income for yourself, our commission based partnerships are ideal.
Simply refer a prospective client and we will do the rest.
You can also choose to maintain the communication links yourself.
You can receive referral commission OR market our migration services as 'in house'.
To find out more and about us, read on.
How it Works
You simply refer a client prospect to us and we will do the rest. We will keep you informed of communications with the client and progress of engagement.
Once a client is engaged, we can provide an approximate time frame for your commission to be paid.
Commissions are paid when payment from client is received and billable work is performed.
This method ensures any client fees held, for which no billable work has been performed, can be refunded to the client if required.
Refunded amounts do not attract commission.
It is rare for refunds to be made to the client. However, as a legal requirement of the migration industry, funds must be withheld until billable work is complete.
Most referral partners receive their due commission within days or weeks.
Referral or ‘in-house’ model
A number of existing partners prefer to run with the ‘in-house’ model.
The in-house model is simply the right to market VISAFAQ migration services as your own in-house service.
A recruiting business, for example, can offer migration services to existing clients as an addition to recruiting services.
This helps to retain client relationships whilst providing an additional revenue stream.
The in-house method provides the following benefits.
- Ideal for businesses wishing to offer additional services to existing clients whilst keeping full control of the client relationship.
- Avoids difficultly of retaining qualified, experienced and competent migration professionals with the necessary MARA registration.
- Is a scaleable service, allowing for as few or as many clients necessary over the business cycle.

This will continue and is likely to intensify in future. We strengthen applications to maximise the chance of success for our clients.
We understand the rigorous review processes DIBP use and the strict requirements for evidence and supporting arguments.

FAQs on this Service
Below are some of the common questions we have about the program.
When am I paid commission?
The short answer is as soon as the work is done. This could be in a matter of days or weeks.
The long answer is as follows.
Client funds are held in escrow in accordance with the Code of Conduct for the migration profession. Funds are held in company trust account.
This is to allow for refunds to be paid if circumstances change and the client no longer wishes to proceed with application.
If no work has been performed on the client’s case, but a written request for refund is received, then all fees are refunded. No commission is paid to referrer.
When a client pulls out of an application process, refunds are paid pro-rata with work tasks not yet completed. Work tasks are outlined in the fee agreement signed by the client prior to commencing work. For example, 50% of tasks in the fee agreement not yet performed are entitled to refund. The 50% of tasks performed are not entitled to refund. This 50% service fee will be entitled to commission. Commission to referrer is then paid from the 50% of fees retained from the client.
Commissions are paid from client fees and not from VISAFAQ general business account.
Am I entitled to ongoing commission from a referred customer?
Yes, you will be entitled to the commission when a client is engaged through your referral. You will also receive the same rate of commission for new work engagements from that referred customer.
Management reserves the right to amend or terminate the commission based partnership at any time. Commissions already agreed to will be honoured, but no subsequent commissions will be automatically offered if program is terminated. Commissions are confirmed at the commencement of each client engagement and honoured through to completion of that particular client engagement.
Am I entitled to referral commission when a referred customer refers a friend.
No. We do not offer ‘chain referral commissions’, as we believe that our service quality has entitled us to the referred business.
Do I need to sign an agency agreement?
This is not required, however an agency agreement can be drafted for interested parties.
Acceptance of offer of commission also implies acceptance of these terms and conditions.
Are there guarantees that I will be paid commission?
Email and other forms of communication constitute an agreement, or contract. We honor such agreements and ensure that fairness and transparency guide the partnership arrangement at all times.
Commission is offered on an individual client agreement basis and not carried over into subsequent agreements. All commissions are confirmed, and confirmed commissions will be honoured.
Will the rate of commission or the partnership program change at all?
Management reserves the right to change rate of commission or to terminate the partnership program at any time. Commission agreements already entered into prior to the day of change will be honoured and full amounts paid to referrer.
Once an agreement for commission is made with a referrer it WILL remain in place for the duration of the client case for which client agreement was signed and paid. Once the commission is paid to referrer, all subsequent commissions will be confirmed in writing at time of client engagement.
Will the client know that I receive the commission for their case?
We are required by law to disclose the fact commissions are paid from fees. This will be outlined in client agreement. We do not need to disclose TO WHOM commissions are to be paid.
